Before you start, note that changing your name label requires a verified mobile phone number. To change your name label, follow these steps:
1 Open the Telegram application software on mobile device and start a new dialogue session. Depending on the version of the app you are using, these items might be located under an actions menu. Tap on this option.
2 Find the section or button labeled data and storage settings, which often can be found under 'Settings' on some Telegram app versions. Tap this button to view available options and features.
3 Locate and tap 'Telegram authentication,' or alternatively look for a label like 'privacy and security panel.' Click on this option.
4 Tap on 'Telegram application code.' If you do encounter different terms, look for options like, 'Telegram available apps,' or a label that says 'Show all chats and other settings.'
